Good Wishes to Dylan Aubrey

We are all  glad to see Dylan back at work having recovered from  a bad accident in September where he suffered a serious hand injury. We know that from day to day Dylan is used to working with machines, some of which can be quite dangerous. Having returned to work during November, Dylan would be the first to acknowledge the need for care and respect when using these machines and the need to wear suitable clothing when using dangerous machimes such as chain-saws.

Dylan spends a lot of his time working in peoples' gardens, as many of us are aware, mowing lawns, clearing shrubbery, pruning branches and hedge cutting. People within our community know of him well. One aspect of his work that he has recently developed is woodcarving using chain-saws and from time to time an exhibition of his work can be seen on the road-side at Glan y Wern, Talsarnau. Displays can be seen of various owls, ancient characters, Christmas trees, lighthouse with steps leading up amongst rocks and a variety of other interesting sculptures.

It's great to see that Dylan is better and back at work and we as local people wish him well in the future.
